Privacy and cookies

Updated 14 September 2026. How we handle information when you visit, contact us or use an account.

Who to contact

Alexander Rowan, sole trader trading as PEPVISIONLABS, is responsible for personal information collected through this website. For privacy requests, contact Alexander Rowan, sole trader trading as PEPVISIONLABS, 10 Ladysmill Industrial Estate, Falkirk, FK1 1RR, United Kingdom. Email: support@pepvisionlabs.co.uk.

Information and purposes

Enquiries contain your name, email, optional phone number and message. The contact form delivers them to our support mailbox. We use them to respond and take steps you request before a purchase, or for our legitimate interest in handling general enquiries.

Accounts contain contact and login details. Order records will include products, billing and delivery details, payment status, notes and your research declaration. We use these to perform the contract, prevent misuse and keep records required by law. Bank transfers are handled by Revolut; do not provide banking passwords through this website. We do not receive card details through a card checkout.

Technical data such as IP addresses, request details and security logs support our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the service. Form abuse controls use a hashed network identifier for a 10-minute rate-limit period. Do not send health, patient or other sensitive information.

Optional email updates

Newsletter signup is separate from ordering and requires consent and email confirmation. We store the email address, consent wording, request time, confirmation status and subscription links privately on the website. Unconfirmed links expire after 48 hours. No marketing campaign is sent automatically on signup. Withdraw consent through your subscription link or support email; withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.

Service providers and access

Hostinger supplies hosting and email infrastructure. Authorised website support personnel may access information where needed for maintenance. Relevant payment information is handled by Revolut and delivery information by Royal Mail. Professional advisers or authorities may receive records where necessary for legal obligations or claims. We do not sell personal information.

Hosting, email, support and other providers may process information outside the UK. Applicable transfer protections must be maintained through the provider arrangements; contact us for details relevant to your information. Website fonts are hosted on this website; loading those fonts does not send a request to Google. No claim is made that all processing stays in the UK.

How long information is kept

We retain enquiry records while responding and as needed for follow-up or disputes; account data while an account is maintained; and order/payment records for applicable tax, accounting and claims periods. Subscription records are kept while consent is active, with the minimum suppression and consent evidence needed after withdrawal. Security records are kept for operational investigation needs. We review necessity rather than promise immediate deletion. Legal holds and backup rotation may delay final removal. Contact us for the criteria applicable to a particular record.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the processing, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, and object to legitimate-interest processing. You can always object to direct marketing. We may need proportionate identity verification. Essential order information is needed to fulfil an order; newsletter consent is optional. We do not use solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Cookies and browser storage

Optional advertising, analytics and WooCommerce order-attribution tracking are disabled. Essential WordPress login and WooCommerce session/cart cookies may be used when those functions are used. Their duration depends on the session and login choice; browser settings show their expiry. They support authentication, cart contents and security.

Your browser also stores age confirmation and the essential-cookie notice preference locally. These choices persist until cleared by you or the browser. Use Cookie preferences in the footer to reopen the notice. You can clear cookies and local storage through browser settings; doing so may sign you out or reset your cart and preferences. Newsletter signup is not consent to optional tracking.
