GHK stands for glycyl-histidyl-lysine, a chain of three amino acids. GHK-Cu refers to its copper complex.
What does the research explore?
An early cell-culture study examined collagen synthesis in fibroblasts exposed to GHK-Cu. Fibroblasts are cells that produce components of the extracellular matrix.
How to interpret the evidence
Cell-culture findings are not evidence that a purchased product will repair skin or tissue in a person. Copper content, peptide identity and measured sample content require their own documentation.
